What do I get with the Starware Toolbar?
Our goal at Starware is to create products that add value to our users' browsing experience. Some of these generate revenue (make us money) by providing paid search links. Others are just useful and fun. Here is a complete list of the features that are included in the Starware Toolbar:
Search Applications:
- Toolbar Search – Search directly from the toolbar's search box. (show me)
- Auto Search – Allows direct searching from the address bar. (show me)
- Error Search – Shows links for potentially correct pages and search results for misspelled web addresses. (show me)
- Related Search – Displays related search terms in a panel that appears from the browser frame while searching at search sites. (show me)
- Search Assistant – Allows searching from the browser's Search button. (unavailable in IE 7) (show me)
- Search Provider – Provides quality search results from the browser's search box. (IE 7 only) (show me)
- Travel Search – Shows competitive prices in a panel that appears from the browser frame while airfare shopping at travel sites. (show me)
- Reference Button – Get 1-click access to an encyclopedia of information. (unavailable on some toolbar versions) (show me)
These features are hopefully unobtrusive and helpful when you search. They can also be disabled in toolbar preferences by clicking the dropdown arrow next to the toolbar logo. They allow us to also deliver the following free products.
The Starware Toolbar is easy to uninstall by using the Control Panel Add/Remove and removing "Starware Toolbar." For detailed uninstallation instructions, click here.

Weather
Get the current weather conditions around the world right in your toolbar! The button includes an icon with the current conditions plus the current temperature. Click on the Weather button for forecasts and more detailed weather conditions.
Affiliate Buttons
Your toolbar may have up to three additional buttons from Starware affiliates. These are shortcuts to their product(s) or service(s).
