What are the system requirements for the Starware Toolbar?

1. Operating System Requirements:
   Windows Versions (Windows 98, Windows ME, Windows NT, Windows 2000, and Windows XP)
2. Browser Requirements:
   Minimum of Internet Explorer versions 5.5. We do not support the Netscape browser.
3. Hardware requirements:
   Any Windows-compatible computer. We don't support Mac and Linux systems (sorry Mac and Linux friends!)

I use Norton Internet Security, Zone Alarm, or similar firewall/proxy software and am having trouble downloading the Starware Toolbar. What should I do?

Temporarily disable your firewall/proxy software and try the download again. You can reactivate your firewall/proxy software once you have downloaded the Starware Toolbar.

What is a DNS Error?

A DNS Error occurs when a web server could not be found at the URL you are seeking. When this happens, "Error Search" displays links for potentially correct pages.

What is Auto Search?

Auto Search generates search results when you type a search term directly into the browser address bar. More information related to Toolbar Search products can be found on the features page.

How do I uninstall the Starware Toolbar?

Uninstallation is very simple. It's done through Windows' Add/Remove Control Panel. For detailed uninstallation instructions, click here. If you still see the Starware Toolbar in your Internet Explorer, or any other Starware files remaining on your hard drive, please contact us.
